Bráðna Nótt (Melting Night)
Over the next few weeks I will present my journey through Iceland in parts. The journey starts in the capital city of Reykjavik. While walking the streets well into the night (the time when the sun has set usually and biological clock triggers the go to sleep button) I came across this beautiful art exhibit in front of the National Theater. The summer chill in June still preventing this ice from melting too quickly but only a fool would believe that this block of frozen water is here to stay. Just like the sun that nearly never sets here is trying to trick the biological clock preventing it from pulling the trigger, but it's not too long before the body would give up. It's for each of us to be sensitive to our surroundings and take the right action.
